Note that post-departure refund can be processed only for goods that have been normally export validated at the country of departure.

If you are purchasing goods in Finland for personal export and you are leaving the EU from Finland, you need to present your passport and receipts to claim your Tax Free shopping refund at the Planet refund point at either Helsinki Airport, Helsinki West Harbour, Allegro or Tolstoi trains (to Russia), Imatra, Vaalimaa or Nuijamaa border road crossings. Be prepared to present the goods if needed.
If you are purchasing goods in Finland, but you are planning to leave the EU via another member country, you will need to fill in required fields on your tax free receipt and get a customs stamp at your point of departure. You can get your refund at any Planet desk or via MyAccount*. (*Only Finnish tax free forms can be refunded via MyAccount.)
Please ensure your goods are unused, packed and sealed.
If you are leaving the EU from Finland, you can get electronic Customs approval and an instant refund at any of the Planet desks located at the main border crossings.
There are small differences in how you can get your refund, which depends on whether you are departing Finland by road, air or rail.

*Planet personnel is working on the route Helsinki-Vainikkala-Helsinki. If you enter the train in Vainikkala, please get physical customs stamp on your receipts. You can get your refund during next visit or via MyAccount.
Please note Finnish Customs will only stamp Planet receipts if our office is closed or unavailable at the border point.
