Planet, a global integrated payments leader, has today announced it's been selected by Tripidi to provide Alipay and WeChat Pay payments capability and value-added support across its flagship Retail stores located at Frankfurt airport in Germany and Vienna International airport in Austria.

 

With Germany and Austria emerging from lockdown and international borders re-opening, Tripidi, which focuses on serving the needs of Chinese shoppers, is looking forward to welcoming its customers back to its stores.

 

Through Planet, Tripidi's Chinese customers will enjoy convenient, safe and easy payments using their Alipay and WeChat Pay digital wallets to pay for their products. By offering shoppers the payment methods of their choice, this will encourage them to spend freely when they return to store.

 

Planet will also use its significant experience of the Alipay and WeChat marketing ecosystems to drive more footfall and generate additional revenue for Tripidi by increasing the visibility of the stores and range of products offered for its shoppers.
