International payments service and technology provider, Planet, is a platinum sponsor of this year’s Merchant Payments Ecosystem (MPE) conference, taking place 18-20 February 2020 in Berlin. The conference, Europe’s largest merchant payments event, enables visitors to discover the latest in payments over a packed three-day agenda featuring keynotes and interactive workshops.

 

Planet, located at Stand W09, will have a significant presence at the event, with Chief Product and Marketing Officer Rory O’Neill delivering two keynotes, looking at how to deliver an exceptional payments experience, and also how to leverage the digital landscape to drive footfall for merchants and increase sales.

 

In his first keynote, Rory will explain the importance of engaging with international shoppers before, during and after their trip. Demonstrating how this ongoing engagement fosters brand loyalty, increased footfall to stores and ultimately repeat spending.

 

During his second keynote, Rory will discuss the power of an engaging digital customer journey, outlining the multiple digital touchpoints that can transform how retailers generate footfall in store.

 

MPE is the only inclusive European discussion platform for those involved with payments throughout the process, including merchants, acquirers, PSPs and Point of Sale Vendors. It features over 140 speakers, 300 merchants, and has over 1,250 attendees throughout the duration of the event.
