The FX Assured^® Service – Planet Payment’s Best Rate Guarantee – combines the certainty and convenience of Dynamic Currency Conversion with the added benefit of knowing that one is getting the best rate available when paying with a Visa^® or MasterCard^® branded card in one’s home currency. 

How It Works

When shopping in a foreign country, you may be charged international usage fees by your credit card provider, in addition to the currency exchange rate. The FX Assured service guarantees that international customers shopping at participating merchants will pay a conversion rate calculated by our patent-pending technology to be less than the effective rate and fees their card issuer would charge for the same transaction.

Planet Payment is so confident in the FX Assured service that we will pay the cardholder 150% of the cost difference if the card issuer’s rate and fees are lower.
