Notice of Special Meeting

Planet Payment, Inc. (UK: LSE:AIM: PPT and PPTR; USA: OTCQX: PLPM), a leading provider of international payment processing and multi-currency processing services, announces that a Notice of Special Meeting has been issued and is being mailed or emailed to all shareholders starting today. A Notice of Availability of proxy materials is being sent to all shareholders who have not elected to receive full sets of documents, with instructions as to how to access the Notice of Special Meeting and Exhibits.  The Company has posted the documents relating to the meeting on its website at www.planetpayment.com.

The purpose of the meeting is to approve a number of matters relating to the Company’s corporate and capital structure and employee equity plans, in connection with a proposed initial public offering of the Company’s common stock in the United States.

The meeting will be held on 18 January 2012 at the Company's head offices at 670 Long Beach Boulevard, Long Beach, New York 11561, USA.  Shareholders planning to attend are requested to notify the Company in advance for administrative purposes.
